Ethema Health operates in the behavioral health industry, providing addiction treatment services including both in-patient and out-patient. They have a facility in downtown West Palm Beach with 62 in-patient beds. A client can receive treatment with Ethema from the highest level of care to outpatient care.
“We believe this is extremely important in a successful recovery journey, said President Shawn Leon. “We have a dedicated family of employees who make us the success we are for so many individuals.”
Ethema is one of the many featured companies slated to present at The Microcap Conference 2024, set for Jan. 30-Feb. 1 at Caesars Atlantic City Hotel and Casino. This three-day conference presented by DealFlow Events features technical programming designed for microcap investors and a presenting company track for pitching and socializing.
History of the company’s formation
The company has opened several addiction treatment facilities since Leon became president and CEO in 2010, first in Canada and then in Florida. Opening and creating centers from the ground up provides tremendous shareholder value, and the company intends to continue on that path for the foreseeable future.
“Addiction is an unfortunate circumstance which far too many people find themselves a victim of,” Leon said. “We believe that all people are capable of recovery from addiction and give everyone we treat the opportunity to heal and recover.”
Ethema has developed a unique style of treatment over the last six years and has had much success with in-patient treatment for adults. The company will continue to develop world class programs and techniques.
Leon and his team, including board members, have deep experience in real estate development, which is a boon to the company’s growth plans.
Key executives and board members
In addition to Leon, board members include Gerry Miller of Toronto. Miller is Managing Partner of the Law Firm Gardiner Miller Arnold LLP. His practice focuses on a comprehensive range of business, finance, and real estate issues. In addition to managing the law firm, Miller runs the business law and real estate practice. He advises small to medium-sized companies in manufacturing, investing, and service-related industries. Miller supervises all merger and acquisition transactions and institutional finance work.
Looking to the future
“We are close to bringing in a new prominent investor,” Leon said. “If we do land the investor we may be moving toward an uplisting sooner rather than later.”
